Grilled Cheese


Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spread a thin, even layer of butter on one side of each slice of Tami's home-made wheat bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on a heated skillet or frying pan.
  3. Lay the cheese slices on top of the bread in the skillet.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
  5. Cook over medium heat for 2-4 minutes, or until the bottom slice is golden brown and crispy - cover with aluminum foil to help the cheese melt.
  6. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for an additional 2-4 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, slice in half, and serve warm.

Tips:

  • Serve with tomato soup of course!
