Hannah's Famous Skillet Steak


Ingredients:

  • Steaks of choice
  • Salt
  • Garlic cloves
  • Sliced onions
  • Sprig of rosemary (from the garden of course)
  • Peppercorns
  • Butter

Directions:

Heat greased iron skillet until real hot.
Salt steaks and sear on both sides.
When almost cooked to desired doneness, add rest of ingredients to pan, continually spooning butter on top of steak as it cooks.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Tips:

  • Filet Mignon is best
  • Use a digital thermometer to get steaks done to your liking
  • For Tami, the steak needs to be burnt black
