Sarah’s Famous Peach Cobbler


Ingredients:

  • 8–9 large peaches, peeled and cut
  • ¾ c. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbl. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¾ c. milk

Directions:

Combine peaches, ¾ c. sugar, and ¼ tsp. salt. Heat in saucepan until sugar melts. Melt butter in a 9x13 pan. Combine flour, 1 c. sugar, baking powder, ¼ tsp. salt, and milk. Pour batter over butter, then place peaches on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Tips:

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if you want to take it to the next level.
Make with fresh Georgia peaches if at all possible.
