Pasta:
- 1 box bowtie pasta, cooked
Chicken:
- 3 c. chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 Tbl. olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook in oil until done.
Chunky Alfredo Sauce:
- 4 Tbl. butter (almost browned)
- 3 c. mushrooms, sliced
- ½ c. onions, chopped
- ½ c. sun-dried tomatoes, julienned
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
Sauté vegetables in butter. Then add the following and simmer for 5 minutes:
- ½ c. cream
- 1 c. half and half
- ½ c. parmesan
- 1 ½ tsp. dried basil
- 2 tsp. chicken bouillon
Directions:
Add cooked chicken and pasta to sauce mixture.
Stir well and serve with fresh parmesan on top.
