Sarah's Famous Key Lime Pie


Ingredients:

  • 7 large egg yolks
  • 4 teaspoons lime zest
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (14 oz. each)
  • 1 cup lime juice, strained
  • 1 slice of lime for decoration
  • 1 graham cracker crust

Directions:

  1. Add each ingredient into a large bowl, stirring after each addition.
  2. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust. (Homemade crust is best!)
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  4. Allow the pie to cool, then chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  5. Top with whipped cream and decorate with a lime slice before serving.

Tips:

  • Eat more than one slice
