Sarah's Famous Key Lime Pie
Ingredients:
7 large egg yolks
4 teaspoons lime zest
2 cans sweetened condensed milk (14 oz. each)
1 cup lime juice, strained
1 slice of lime for decoration
1 graham cracker crust
Directions:
Add each ingredient into a large bowl, stirring after each addition.
Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust. (Homemade crust is best!)
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
Allow the pie to cool, then chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
Top with whipped cream and decorate with a lime slice before serving.
Tips:
Eat more than one slice
