Cam’s Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients:

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • ¾ c. white sugar (I use all brown sugar)
  • ¾ c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Mix the ingredients above until combined. Then add:

  • 1 ½ c. white flour (I use half wheat flour)
  • 2 c. regular oats (I use 2 ½ c.)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups mini chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix until thoroughly combined. Cookies (tend to flatten out): bake at 325 degrees for 9 minutes. Bars: bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until done.

Cam wrote this recipe down on a lined piece of paper at school in 2nd grade… so cute!
